Robby Hampton, MS CCC/SLP was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, Tx. After graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School, he played 4 years in the Toronto Blue Jays baseball organization before retiring from professional baseball and enrolling in the University of Arkansas to play football. While at the University of Arkansas he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders.
Shortly after the birth of their first child in 2002, Robby and wife, Carrie, moved back to Mt. Pleasant to be near family and raise their children: Faith, Luke and Eva. Robby began his career in speech therapy in 2003 and has worked in a variety of settings which include the skilled nursing facility, home health, public school, private practice and outpatient clinic. He had the opportunity to take part in establishing Chamber’s Outpatient therapy prior to pursuing another job opportunity, and then later returned to Kinetic Therapy to join a caring and knowledgeable staff.
Robby is Vital Stim certified and completes continuing education courses in order to stay up to date with any changes or improvements in the field of speech language pathology that might help better serve his patients. He believes that establishing a trusting, personal relationship with his patients, along with the knowledge he possesses, is the key to providing the best level of care and the optimal level of outcomes for his patients.
